An unintended summer break

There was no post on Sunday as I spent the weekend in a hospital bed hooked up to intravenous antibiotics  as I have jaundice and gall stones.

Officially I’m still in hospital as I’m having a range of ongoing tests and will be having an MRI scan tomorrow.  The doctor has kindly let me out for the afternoon to sort a few things out.

So Flighty’s plot is on an unintended summer break for, hopefully, just a short while.

My apologies for any previous comments that I’ve not replied to, and obviously until I’m home again I won’t be replying to any on this post.

Happy gardening!

  1. I wondered where your Sunday post was – now I know. Hope you are feeling better soon and that you aren’t in too much pain with the gallstones. Keep your chin up my friend and come back to us when you are good and ready.

  4. Gosh, I hope this doesn’t lead on to more serious hospital treatment, Flighty. No doubt you’re in the best place as our NHS isn’t completely decrepit yet, despite the rumours! My best wishes for a speedy recovery and hoping that you have a relatively pain free time of it. Caro xx

  9. I add my wishes for a speedy recovery and hope you are soon feeling top form. You are such a steady fellow that it was a bit of a shock to find you had been hospitalized.. I bet it was a worry when you were feeling the pain. It sounds like you are in good hands, and look forward to hearing that you are all well again and back to plotting!! Take care ❤
