for blogging today although there is plenty that I could blog about.
Perhaps it’s the weather which is dull with heavy rain forecast for later on. It was a different story yesterday when it was a beautiful sunny day.
I took a stroll to the allotments and stopped to take this photo of the wonderful willow tree which is next to the site gate.
Have a good Sunday!
Same here, Flighty. Paddy and I have just got soaked on our morning walk. And I see it’s even snowing on your blog!

Jenny it was a miserable day here but today is sunny. I don’t mind snow here on my blog! xx

I, too, know this feeling. Winter (yes, even on coastal CA, yet somehow by different standards) seemed to have hit suddenly for all of us. Hoping the mood strikes you soon.

Katie hello and welcome. You’re in the same part of the world as Nikkipolani, a friend and fellow blogger, who also commented that it’s gone wintry there. Thanks, I’m sure it will.
I’ve bookmarked your blog and will have a good look at it later today. xx

There’s no set rules that say you have to blog every Sunday, Flighty, hope you took it easy yesterday. I love willow trees, the one outside your allotments is a wonderful specimen.

Jo I know but I’ve posted every Sunday, and Thursday, since I started blogging! Thanks, I did indeed. Me too, and as you say this is a wonderful one. xx

I’ve often wondered what your allotments look like Flighty, now I know! Magnificent willow; like Jo, I love willow trees, there’s one growing next to my parents’ house, the council give it an annual ‘haircut’ but I love it when its branches reach to the ground. (P.S. you did well to blog, I haven’t had time recently so missed the Saturday Snap although I have lots of posts to do, still sitting in my head!) Caro x

Caro it’s long tapering site with 3/4 plots either side of the roadway this end and one either side at the other end. My plot is just down on the right-hand side.
This willow has lost a few branches in recent years. Thanks, I usually post something even if it’s brief or just a picture. Like you I’ve lots to do. xx

That is a beautiful tree, Flighty and a gorgeous blue sky. I know what you mean about the dull, dark days of winter. I just keep telling myself it’s less than 2 weeks now to the winter solstice and then we heading towards spring again. Take care, Wellywoman x
