Last year I let the self-seeded collomia grandiflora grow and flower over most of the flower patch but this year there’ll just be a small group of them again. As usual I’ve dug up and replanted some which had self-seeded and were growing across the path on the neighbouring plot including the noticeably large one.
Here’s the south-east corner of the plot which was missing from the picture I showed on Thursday. There’s the blackberry bush, a clump of daffodils which were there when I took on the plot and the raspberries.
There are a handful of comfrey plants in the strip of ground in front of the old dustbin which are dormant at present.
On Thursday I had an early lunch then went to plot where I spent a couple of hours in the warm sunshine. It was good to see the crocuses open, especially the Snow Bunting. I took this picture and put it on Twitter and the Facebook group Friendly Gardeners since when both have had well over 250 likes.
Have a good week!
