I grow plants…

I meant to take some photos yesterday for today’s post but got side-tracked chatting with a plot neighbour and I forgot. It’s raining today, which is typical for an August Bank Holiday Sunday, so I didn’t even have a quick look round the plot on my way to the horticultural society trading shed.

I came across this recently which I like, both the picture and words.

Have a good week!

Lovely floral colours, written sentiments many of us can relate to. I ‘d forgotten it was a Bank Holiday. Getting chilly here: so far dire forecast has produced a short shower today. Your trip to the shed and the chat were obviously very absorbing. Xx

It’s the first full day of rain we’ve had for a very long time and it’s turned cold all of a sudden too. Yes, lovely words accompanied by a lovely picture.

Those are very apt sentiments. Hope August Bank Holiday Monday is a sunny day!

Lovely words. And yes, a very wet and windy bank holiday Sunday here as well, no gardening to be done at all. It’s making me happy that I managed to cut the grass yesterday before the rain started, it always makes the garden look better. Have a good week Flighty. CJ xx
