Margo’s poppies

My plot neighbour Margo was on holiday during June and asked me to keep an eye on her plot whilst she was away.

I did but walking round one day I realised that she’d miss seeing all the poppies flowering so I took a few photos and have done this post so that we can all share them with her.

What a beautiful selection – I would think Margo was pleased that you recorded that fleeting moment for her.

They’re beautiful. I was thrilled when we returned from holiday and found poppies flowering amongst the potatoes, they added a very welcome splash of colour.

Margo has some wonderful poppies. How nice to take the photos so she won’ t miss them. Perhaps she will let you have some seeds.

Chloris she sure has. Thanks. I meant to take a few seed heads but forget, and it’s now too late as they’ve been dead-headed. Never mind there’s always next year. xx

With such a short bloom period, it’s nice of you to photograph these beauties for her.

  8. What a lovely thing for you to do for her Flighty, and what glorious poppies.
