Seeds of Friendship

About a month ago Glo (Porcelain Rose) emailed me asking if I’d like some small, 3″ x 3″ self-seal plastic seed packets that she had, to which I replied that I would indeed.  In a further email she said that she’d also done a template for slightly smaller paper packets that I could put in them or use separately.

A couple of weeks later she let me know that a parcel was on it’s way to me, which arrived just a few days later.   It measured 9″ x 6″ x 1″ and wrapped in brown paper with all the usual labels, rather than stamps, that parcels seem to need nowadays.

Box lidOpening it I found that the box lid had a nice green and black bird print on it and much to my surprise inside were all sorts of goodies.

Card and chocolate bunnies

There were two open ended boxes each containing 20 each paper and plastic seed packets, a lovely card, six small chocolate bunnies, some white plastic pot markers, a garden marker black pen, a when to grow list of vegetables and herbs and inside the box lid a sheet to note any seeds that I send to others.  Needless to say I was absolutely delighted with everything.

Seed packets

Many thanks to Glo for this wonderful, generous gift which on this occasion I’ll be able to partly share with others when I send them seeds in these Flighty’s Seeds – Seeds of Friendship packets.

Have a good week!

  3. So pleased you enjoyed your parcel, Flighty ~ I enjoyed putting it all together and shipping it off. Thanks also for the link to my blog and the kind words from your commenters 🙂

Looks like your plot is coming along nicely with all of your spring bulbs popping up and flowering. Very promising to see Spring at last!

    1. Glo thanks again for all it contained, and that’s nice to know. You’re welcome, and aren’t they lovely people.

The plot is all ready, and there’s more bare ground than anything else at the moment. Yes indeed. xx
