We shall remember them…
If only we could find a way to make it stop!
We must never be allowed to forget.
I watched the proceedings in Whitehall this morning, and a string of memories passed through my mind and a number of particular thoughts as well. xx
Awwwww….yes, we shall always remember. I always think of my dad. He was in the RAF, WW2, his memories got stronger and more merciless towards his death. He never shook the smell of death of him.
The sight of a poppy always makes me weep.xxxxx
Yes, we remember. We sang all the armed forces songs as veterans came to the front to be acknowledged. I love that.
Thanks for posting this Flighty. Nothing else needs to be said. x
