National Gardening Week 2012

is a new event by the RHS to get the nation growing and celebrating everything about gardens and gardening.

Click on the logo for full details of what’s happening when and where.

Before it starts this weekend sees the launch of the important RHS environmental campaign Sowing wildflowers – Britain in Bloom.

Next Tuesday is the themed event Gardens of the Nation where the RHS is asking garden owners all over the country to take photos of their own gardens to help build up a picture of the country’s domestic gardens and become part of gardening history.

Details can also be found on Facebook and Twitter.

Have a good weekend, and happy gardening!

It looks like there’s plenty going on in the immediate future. It’s the Harrogate Spring Flower Show at the end of the month, though I don’t think we’re going this year.

  2. These short posts can be quite informative!

I really like this idea – it takes the RHS well outside of their four gardens and makes it much more inclusive 🙂

    Happy gardening Flighty! xx
