is the cover title on next week’s Radio Times which shows a wonderful picture of a kingfisher.
Halcyon River Diaries is a new series starting on BBC1 Sunday at 6.10pm in which ex TV presenter Phillippa Forrester and her husband cameraman Charlie Hamilton James film wildlife such as ducks, otters and dragonflies on the stretch of river where they live. This looks like ideal viewing for Sunday tea times over the next few weeks.
Springwatch makes a welcome return at the end of the month and I shall do a post about it nearer the time. Meanwhile next week sees three hour long special programmes on BBC2 at 8.00pm on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. They are respectively Signs of Change with Chris Packham, City Living with Simon King and High Seas with Gordon Buchanan.
I’ve no doubt that all three will be interesting and informative but living in an urban area it’s the City Living one that I’ll particularly enjoy watching.
Have a good weekend!
