Plot plants ~ Common Mallow

The Common Mallow (Malva sylvestris) is a perennial native wild-flower. The flowers have  darker stripes that act as nectar guides for visiting bees.DSCN1445

There are two on the plot which are covered in flowers as you can see on my new header picture and in this oneDSCN1443

Beautiful! That it blooms so well for you and invites bees and looks so pretty and graces your header.

We just get the odd flower around here – nothing like the copious amounts gracing your new header 🙂 xx

Really lovely. A plant I would choose if I had an allotment. Interesting link for Malva. I’d eat the fruits if they taste like peanuts! x
