Springwatch specials

I’ve really enjoyed watching  Springwatch over the past three weeks but can hardly believe that it’s finished for another year.

Happily next week there are three Springwatch specials being shown on BBC2 all starting at 8.00pm.

On Monday there is Springwatch Close Encounters with Simon King, Wednesday sees Springwatch Holidays with Martin Hughes-Games and on Thursday it’s Springwatch Home Movies with Gordon Buchanan.

Don’t forget that the RSPB’s Make Your Nature Count, which I mentioned last weekend,  continues through to Sunday.

Have a good weekend!

Spring is such a wonderful time to observe new changes in nature all around. Glad there are shows to capture some of this! Enjoy your weekend, Flighty. And thanks again for your lovely b-day wishes!

Nikki it is indeed, and Springwatch shows it all!
Thanks you too! You’re most welcome! xx

I’m pleased you enjoyed Springwatch, and it is indeed amazing how quickly the season moves right along! I don’t think I would have time to have watched it, even if we did get it ~ however, I have been outside with nature, so perhaps that counts. Sounds like you have more shows that you will enjoy.

Glo thanks! It moves along all too quickly at times. I’m sure that your own version of it was just as enjoyable. The three specials should be good to watch. xx

Were these the specials where Chris Packham was dropping in the titles of Smiths songs each night? I was disappointed to have missed it.

    • Flighty says:

Leafyleith hello and wecome! No apparently he was doing that each night during the main series. Presumably he had a bet with someone that he could do it! It was soon noticed and mentioned on the messageboards!
      Happy gardening!
