Show us your mugs said Daffy earlier today!
I often refer to a cup of tea in these entries but I must confess that I should really say a mug of tea! Like most people I have an assortment of mugs that I use. However when I’m drinking tea I nearly always use a plain white mug.
It’s the middle one of these three, and is a standard size one.
The one on the left is a proper builder’s mug which gets used occasionally when I’m really thirsty, and the dinky one on the right is a demitasse cup.
Now please excuse me, if you will, as I’m off to to make a mug of tea! I’ll have it with a couple of biscuits, of course, whilst reading the book that I’ll be mentioning in a week or so in response to Uphilldowndale’s recent tag.

Nice mugs you have there, Flighty, and they’re so shiny
My regular ones are white too, but a bit more curvy, and only one size! I suppose you didn’t want to share your biscuits…I looked for some, just in case

Do you polish your mugs? They could double up as mirrors!

If I had white ones I would have to make sure I did slop my coffee down the sides and that would be too hard!
The big one is perfect for dunking.

I drink tea mostly from a cup but it is a whopper of a cup, just as big as your builder’s mug I think. I love drinking tea in vast quantities but I am not into dunking biccies as I find that yucky.

Flighty, an entry on tea/teacups is a fine idea. What is more cozy than a cup of tea? I like teacups but they don’t hold enough do they? Cheers!

That middle mug could be the long-lost twin of my tea mug!
I have to have the right sized mug for my tea too – anything too small feels like I am being shortchanged!

Smiles – the mugs are everywhere; this is like “Goldilocks and the three bears” only more “Mr Flighty and the three mugs” the first was too big, the next was too small but the third was just right

I’m afraid I no longer have any mugs to share. But the two I am using at my cousin currently have a painting by Caillebotte of the Parisian couple in the rain, and his signature on the handle. They’re very big.
