Blueandtigger do as it's the kind of plant that can literally take over a garden!
That sounds like a good idea. I've still to decide what veggies I'm going to have, and like you it'll be the easy to grow ones!
It'll soon change colour once you get going! Take care.

Mint... I'll be sure to remember that. All though, I don't think I'll venture to herbs just yet. I'll start with the very simple and easy to grow veggies first. :) My green thumb is more yellow than green :$

Blueandtigger hello! That sounds like a great idea. I know that mint is like that and should be grown in a pot, and there may well be others.

I want to start a little herb and veggie garden this year for Cooper. I've heard that some herbs can take over your garden though so should be planted in pots on their own. Have you heard that?

You'll have to at least try them if you're growing them Flighty ;)

Rosemary is lovely broken up and rubbed over a joint of meat, or throw a few sprigs into the tray with your roast potatos... Basil is great ripped up and put in a tomato based pata sause.... mmmm yummy! :)

Olivia from other comments it certainly looks that way! I'm sure that I will as well. I'll be more than happy to let plot neighbours, and others, share my herbs. xx

Ooh, herbs are so satisfying to grow. Even if you don't start using them in your cooking - and I am sure once you see them you will be tempted - I hope you can find recipients who will enjoy a few sprigs. xx

Nikki you're not kidding, the catalogue I have has over 20 in it!
Sweet basil is at the top of the list.
That sounds rather exotic. I'm sure that you do really want to try again, yes? Yes?!

Sheesh, there's a lot of basil to choose from. Though for cooking, I will probably stick to plain sweet basil. I've a hankering to try some Vietnamese herbs, though I've had no luck in the past. Sounds like a good reason to try again, no? No?!
